Baby Quilt for Great-Niece

Our nephew and his wife had a baby girl in November. We were able to see them when we went to MI for Thanksgiving and gave them the quilt I had made for her. I used a charm pack in blue - their only color choice - and made the disappearing 4-patch for the first time. I really liked using this simple pattern and will definitely use the pattern again. I used a soft blue flannel for the backing. I did a simple stipple for the quilting because that is pretty much the extent of my free-motion quilting abilities so far.

This is such a sweet quilt! I'm a huge fan of the D4P, plus my favorite color is blue. So nice, good job!!

The fabric choices are great. The lighter color makes it look as though light is coming through it.

That's a great one! I have got to try that pattern again. I have only done it in scrappy......I love the one color focus you used. The blues are so pretty!
