our quilting class made this quilt top for one of our members who is due in about 2 weeks. i quilted it and deliverd it to her last night. shewas realy suprized when we gave it to her since she helped peice it but dident know it was for her.

Lovely pattern and lovely scrappy yellows and greens. What pattern is this? It looks like a strip pattern.

I found this free online pattern by one of my favorite Quilt Teachers. I like the layout from Lindy-2's quilt better, more scrappy and old fashion looking, but I think if I mix the bloocks in stead of sorting them by color it will look the same as Lindy-2's quilt in the picture.

I have not been quilting all that long but it looks like corn and beans to me.

yup this is the pattern we just mixed the blocks up we liked it better that way.
