Baby Quilt - Rise & Shine
2 Attachment(s)
Made this quilt according to the mother's chosen baby room theme - super easy 60 degree triangles with my very 1st attempt at simple embroidery. Fun to put together - thanks for looking!
Edited to add: Now that I've posted and viewed the picture I can see one triangle that's off - that will be my unique signature as I am not taking this apart! |
I love that quilt! The colors are fantastic & I like the simplicity of the triangles. Mom & baby should be very, very happy.
You did a great job with all of it - piecing; quilting; label. You should be proud!
What a sweet quilt...the label is perfect for the quilt, too. You are too hard on yourself...What mistake? We shouldn't be pointing them out...no one notices them until you do...BTW...still don't see it though.
This is so cute! I may borrow your pattern - I need to make a baby quilt in the next couple of weeks and this looks like fun.
That's a very nice looking quilt.
It's really sweet and perfect for the baby's room. No one will see any mistake with that pattern. I sure can't and I've tried. Don't say a word.....
very crisp, clean, and bright. nicely done
so cute & looks perfect; great label!, sure to be enjoyed!
It’s a wonderful quilt, and a great gift
Cute quilt and label!
I don't see the off triangle. Looks like a very well made and pretty quilt to me. The baby will never notice either.
like the colors and the cute embroidery - really need to try a one shape quilt like this one day. - added to the list.
That’s lovely! A 60 degree triangle quilt is on my list to make.
I love it! I have a bunch of woodland/camping type fabrics that I was going to make a simple charm quilt out of. I might need to think about doing it in triangles instead. They look so good!
Great quilt! I agree with the others to be quiet about the mistake. I join the others in not being able to see it! You did a great job!
Adorable! Love your colors!
Glad the 'tilted triangle' is not so obvious :) FYI - it's along the right edge 4th row up from the bottom...
I appreciate the compliments and encourage others to make this simple 60 degree triangle pattern - it's simple, quick, can be scrappy and produces a modern look that seems to appeal to all of the 20-30ish mothers-to-be in my family. It's become my go-to baby quilt pattern :) |
It turned out very well.
Nice baby quilt.
Great quilt, Christine! I'm sure the family will love it.

Do you mean the deer aren't facing the correct way? I would not worry about that! I thought you meant there was a pattern to the color placement of the triangles. When I use a directional pattern or directional prints, I always deliberately mix up the directional prints or change the pattern layout so it's multi directional, so I never have to worry about that. I want my bed quilts to be able to be used with either end at the top, and my tablerunners to look good from both sides and ends of the table.
Nicely done. Love the fabrics you used.
All I see is a very pretty quilt and will be loved. Beautiful quilt.
This is a darling and uniquely different baby quilt. Thanks for sharing.
That is a terrific pattern for a modern baby quilt. You did a great job...I don't see any mistakes :-)
Super baby quilt. I like the non-traditional colors and theme.
