My cousin's baby shower is next Sunday, so Kendall's mom & I worked hard and made this quilt this weekend. The nursery is going to be Paddington bear, so I searched online and found the fabric at fabric.com. The last photo (one of my DSIL's) is what inspired this one, plus my DSIL's fanatastic eye for color and design helped fill it out! She did most of the cutting and piecing. I helped press and cut as we went, then I quilted and did the binding yesterday. I think we make a good team! I hope my cousin likes it.

Thanks everyone! I have a question, though, about the quilting. the striped sashing is not quilted at all. Should we do more quilting to help secure those seams? The batting turned out a lot flatter and thinner than I expected. It was a fusible polyester batting. I wonder if it will re-fluff after we wash it, or did I press it too much and melt it down flat?

Both quilts are very pretty. I really like the Paddington Bear, my kids watched him every morning when they were little.

DSIL - Dear Sister in Law. I spend more time at her and my brother's house, so we share a big sewing room in her basement. It's great sharing resources and helping each other on projects! She's my favorite sister-in-law!
