This is for the new great-grandbaby. It was quilted by our daughter, it is the first time she tried machine quilting. She did a wonderful job, didn't even break the thread one time. Sorry they are not in my order, the Snoopy one is for our new grand.

The other two baby quilts are for newborns to friends and extended family.

Sew

How sweet is that, such a lovely gift for your new treasure. :D
I've seen the fabric you used for the backing is it fleece? I keep wondering whether to buy some for my eldest son's girlfriends sister who is due her first baby in July.
Hope I manage to do such a good a job as your daughter has when I adventually attempt FM. Tell her well done from me.

Thank you Tisha for your kind comments, the backing fabric is flannel (a soft napped fabric) I use it for most of the baby quilts. Fleece is also soft and great to feel, I have some in my stash, but it stretches so much that I have been uneasy to use it. Although, I helped my friend machine quilt one and it turned out just fine.

I do not use a home machine to quilt, but a very old professional set-up, my neighbor has it in her garage and she lets me use it anytime I want, I really love to quilt so usually I try to help her with her quilting.

You do such lovely work that I am sure that your baby quilt will turn out wondrrful. Good quilting Sewbusy

Guess I didn't know how to use the quote feature on this, I put my comments into yours I am still learning this stuff.

Thank you everyone for your kind comments and support. I think she is getting the quilting bug. I hope so anyway. We had such a great time quilting together. Quilting is a good time to talk and laugh and just enjoy each others company.

How sweet they are! I think your daughter did a fantastic job on the quilting. Did she do all of them? Every one just darling.

I am glad you too had some fun at your quilting bee. Just like in the olden days ... chatting and laughing ... how fun!

Actually she only did the Snoopy one for her new grandbaby. She will be flying up to Oregon to met him this week-end. I had so many problems trying to post the pictures that I didn't emplain myself very good. I tried to post those pictures many times before I actually got the job done. I would get one in the box and try to put another one up and all would just vanish. I gave up and walked away in frustration once and than tried later and it worked. This took a long time and much frustration, I am just not that computer savvy.

But it was a very good day quilting with her, and I hope to do it many more times.
