Lois, I did it on my PQ1500s which has a 9" harp. You could do the quilting on either your DSM or the Tiara sit-down. I used a ruler foot and the Westalee Circles on Quilts template set 1. That Westalee template is wonderful. I used the larger of the two that come in the set. It allows you to do concentric circles in 1/2 inch increments.
You could do it easily on your Tiara, you'd just have to buy the template. If you haven't tried ruler work yet, go to Amy Johnson's YouTube channel and check it out. Patsy Thompson also has a nice series of YouTube videos. Amy Johnson teaches a Craftsy class for beginning ruler work that has lots of info. Rob |
