I made this baby quilt for my daughter to give to her first born nephew. The baby lives in Dodge City, KS, so I thought using the Midnight Cowboy fabric would fit right in. There are some mistakes, but I decided to post it anyway, if you are like me I love, love, looking at pictures of projects. This was a quilt a you go project as you can see on the back of the quilt. The label was done on my embroidery machine. Have a nice day.

Thank you, and I grew up in Iowa, the name of the town is Neola, about 18 miles from Council Bluffs, Iowa. I've lived in the NW for almost 20 years now.

Yes, I have done a few Quilt as you Go. I've done them 3 different ways, and I even have instructions that I bought to try it a 4th way, which I haven't tried yet. I wish I could do long arm quilting, but the machines are too much $$$ for me. Have you done any that way?

 I like the corner's of the framed out photos. It really looks like they are picture frames hanging on a wall.

This is an adoreable quilt, Jenelle. I especially love the way you handled the quilt-as-you-go on the back. I've got a q-a-y-g ready to go and yours has given me inspiration to start it. Even the front of your quilt is perfect. The joiners absolutely fit into the design and don't look like frames even tho they are. Great job! and wonderfully fun.

jdavis 10-31-2010 01:50 PM
