What a nice idea for your church to do! And you are kind to offer your talents. Job well done. Feathers earned on your future wings :)

How wonderful of you. Many blessings will come your way for your generosity. I also want to share an idea I saw in Texas at our small community church. Anyone who chooses to, lcan make a shawl cover by quilting, knitting, or crochet. (No wool, allergies you know.) The shawls are neatly folded on a table in the foyer, and anyone who has issues with AC being too cold, can take one or two for their legs, use them for the service and return it afterwords to the pretty basket beside them, which the ladie's group takes turn washing for the next Sunday. I never felt the need for one, but the older ladies and gentlemen loved using them, some even kept a photo record of the ones they had used, to share at the early morning coffee gathering at the local cafe'. They compete to see who got to use the newer ones. Lovely idea I thought.

I enjoyed reading your story so much. Had never heard of this one being done before, but what a great and useful thing in your church! I'd be one of those to use one, as I'm one who gets cold easy!
