Maddy did a great job. I love the photo of her sewing on her machine...she's concentrating so hard! Congrats to Maddy!!!

Great job on her projects! What kind of sewing machine is that she is using? My granddaughter is only 3 but she is begging for a sewing machine already.

Just google cardboard box oven you you will get options on how to make it We took a copy paper box lined it with two layers of heavy duty tin foil stapling in it in place It worked great!! As good as a home oven. Most of the directions tell you how much charcoal to use usually 9 to 12 pieces.

I found her machine at Rite aid at Christmas time The first one I bought her was half off for $10.00 she took that one home this one I got for $20.00 she also has a Janome. the one you see is battery operated. Great for camping and it had a foot peddle.

What fun.

In all my years of capming I would never thought to use a cardboard box to bake. I would have been skeered it would catch fire.

I have to admit I did it as a girl scout many years ago but didn't remember You only use 9 to 12 charcoal brickets as eac one is about 40 degrees It worked better than my oven at home!! Well our cake was a little crooked due to the leavel part of the ground but it even browned on the top~ I was impressed!!

Maddy loves to sew as do her brothers, They made pillows this year, She lives 400 miles from me so it is hard. Plus when a I'm get there she has a 3 year old brother who will not leave us alone so we have to wait till naptime!!
