This was a little more work than I planned. I didn't trust the pellon 809 decor bond. I followed the instructions and this stuff would not bond. Now I'm stuck with a yard of it. So I quilted it in a stipple that should hold it. This pattern had a nice elestic top for a no knot top. Thanks for looking Geraldine |
Cute back pack!

You did a nice job and like the fabric ,too.

Interesting. I've used decor bond on several purses and never had a problem getting it to bond to cotton fabrics.
|
Very professional looking.

You did a great job on the backpack. Good fabric choice.

What a nice job you did on the pack. I hate it when something isn't working right. After all the money too! You found the solution and made a great bag. Someone is going to be very happy!

Nice work on the great backpack!

cute fabrics. I love it

I too had an issue with the Décor Bond. Wrote to the co. and they immediately replied! Super helpful and it turns out that some fabric until it has been washed refuses to allow bonding. Was pleased with Pellon's service.

Love that fabric! Nice job!

Nice job. I'm not sure if I used the same product, but I made a cross body bag, in a smaller size, as I keep too much stuff in my purse, but the pattern called for 2 layers of heavy weight interfacing. Never again. My DDIL liked it so I gave it to her, my DS suggested a $20 donation as I had planned to sell it at a Nov. Fair I'm attending, I did make another one, left out the heavy interfacing and not only did it look better, it was a lot easier to sew.

That is so cool!

Great job. BrendaK
