Just wanted to see if I could upload a picture. Haven't been able to in a long time. I made this quilt for a young man who lived with us for 6 months after he spent a year in jail. He calls us Mom and Pops, got his GED and went to a two year college and now works as a "Non-Destructive Testing Technician. His favorite color is green and he loves all things Irish. haha

Now I'll see if I can find a picture of the front. haha

So kind of you to help him in his time of need. Sounds like he is on the right path, thanks to your loving help. God bless you.
Love the back of his quilt. He will treasure it forever, because it represents home. |
That is outstanding! My family is from Ireland and that would be a hit around here! Thanks for sharing and I can’t wait to see the front! I love the story it is so nice to hear he has turned his life around with the help of you and your husband. Happy Thanksgiving to you.

We, too, have an “ adopted” son.... love his quilt, and love you for offering a safe place for him to land. Xo

a beautiful back. and what a wonderful thing you did. Letting this young man have a second chance at life, to get an education and get back on his feet, and get a good job. You taught him a lot by letting him stay with you. One of them LOVE, and trust in people again. God Bless You!

Thumbs up... Looks great and Ryan seems pleased.

Awesome way to personalize.... And, you and your husband are special people. Obviously, you inspired hope in this young man. Great story of his success...
