Use both! Piece the back with both fabrics. Make it truly reversible.

use sandpat's suggestion to me regarding my RR quilt - use the stripes for the backing since you have that in your quilt and use the animals to make small pillows (you could even throw in the stripes on the pillows as the piece by the opening to tie them together!)

My vote is the animals. Of course, I don't hold my head straight, so if I tried to use the stripes, they would end up looking like a drunk person made it. :roll: You're obviously much better at that than I am!
