Used 2-1/2" squares to make this bag from the 10-minute block pattern
OH my - how cute.
That's adorable!
Wondered how that block would work if done smaller. Have done it in 5" blocks. Very nice bag.
Love the bag .... did you draft your own pattern? Or where can we locate it?
Is it lined, any pockets or batting used? |
Very cute. Good idea.
Nice bag. 2-1/2" squares must have been pretty tricky sewing. I had a hard time with 5" squares.
That is sure a nice bag. I have lots of 2 1/2 inch squares. :D
Very pretty -- I love it!
I have been making the 'bali bags' for xmas, so it uses the same structure, but it is of course a different size than their pattern. It is lined and has pockets on the inside. I used the 'quilt as you sew' method but, if you like a 'firmer' bag i would use a 'interfacing' also

Cute !!!

Thanks for showing us your bag with the 2.5" squares. Love the black and white colors.
You must have nimble fingers to use those small squares. When I had 3" squares to use for a trial block, IMHO the center was really hard to open up. But the 6" and 10" squares were easy to manipulate. |
Cute!!!

What a beautiful bag and that must have been tricky with 2.5 squares! I made a 5 inch sample block which wasn't bad at all.
Oh that is very cute...the whole blk & wh thing has hit me lately.
Very creative!!! Don't you just love that block? :D
What a fun bag :D:D:D
