The bag looks great, but no wonder you never want to do it again. All that piping-- yuck! I love to quilt, but making 3D objects makes me insane. When i try to make a purse, I usually give up 3 or 4 times and stalk out of my sewing room in frustration. What a great friend you are.

It's beautiful. I know she'll like it. Bags do takes long time, so I understand why you don't want to tackle another.
