I liked the bag pattern I made for my DIL so much I had to make one for me.

I just love the colors. I'm a fool for batiks. I think they appeal to the hippy teenager I once was. :)

It's beautiful. Love that fabric... What is the name of that bag pattern. I don't think I've ever seen that design before. Nice full pocket on the side... niccceeeeee.

A co-worker gave me a bunch of her old magazines. That was in the Quilt Magazine. April/May 2010. The magazine website address is www.quiltmag.com. The name of the bag is Daytripper Bag by Jana Nielson, Izzy & Ivy Designs.

I reallllly want to make that bag. It's a very practical design. I looked on the designer's blog/website and she doesn't have the pattern for sale.. I have lots of quilt mags, but don't have that one from April/May 2010... .darn..

I tried to find this pattern and could not. Any other help as to where I can get it. I really would like to make this bag it sounds like just what I was looking for.
