The fabric that I used in this bag has some sort of Chinese symbol in gold. At Christmas time, my daughter wanted to make a quilt for her in-laws, but was short on money. So she went through my stash and said how much she liked that fabric. There wasn't enough for a quilt, nor did it go with the other fabrics that she picked. So I stored that and made the bag. Funny enough, the fabric was free. The lady that I bought my longarm from gave me three boxes of fabric.

this bag pattern called for a Bag-E-Bottom. A BEB was $9. My mom got a piece of fiberglass for $2. Turns out, we really didn't need either one.
