Bailey's Blanket

I made this for my cousin's adorable 8 year old daughter from her little Hard Rock Cafe t-shirts. The front fabric is t-shirt knit, and the back is a soft, fleecy fabric. I sewed on my grandma's old Morse (her great-grandma) and plan to incorporate the machine pic into the label. I'm happy with the way it turned out. Now I have to figure out what to charge my cousin. Do you think $50 sounds right?

If the quilt was commissioned I would have determined a price beforehand, would hate to have $$ become a problem between cousins.

Very cute quilt, don't know what to tell you on pricing. How much do you have in materials that you paid for? How much time did you spend? Do you really like this cousin?

Very nice no idea of pricing.

QuiltnNan 12-09-2012 09:52 AM

i'm no good at pricing, either, but $50 sounds like an excellent deal for her. nicelly done.

I would say $50. When someone wants something that bad they will pay for it, family or not.

Very cute nice, job!
I would say yeah $50 would be fair...
Because if someone were to buy that blanket in the store it would cost much more.

cute quilt not sure about charing a family member

I have sewn many things for family members over the years. I've learned which people are takers and which are givers. I've also learned that my time and talents are valuable, both to me and others.
