I love Ballooning! I have been chasing balloons for about 4 years and love it! Statesville, NC has the second oldest balloon festival in the nation and it is held this October 21,22,23 at the airport.

So y'all come! It is not near as big as NM but may be closer to some of you on this side of the country!

AND if you ever get the chance to ride in a hot air balloon...
GO FOR IT! You wont regret it one second!

The fish or the cow, either one, would look so cute as an applique for a quilt! Maybe the cow jumping over the moon?

oh how beautiful! a few years ago my husband surprised me with a trip to the Balloon Fiesta and even a balloon ride, it was a trip to remember..

The fish is my favorite. Really like the fall colors of the Aspen.
