what kind of paint and wood did you use, very nice barn quilt, you did a great job..I have also always wanted to make one for our barn just never have taken the time to do it but I think this winter would be a great time to make one..thanks for the pictures I think this will get me going...

Since I needed to make a small one (2ft X 2ft) I purchased a pre-cut piece of oak at Lowes. I then used 2 coats primer and 2 coats Valspar latex enamel interior/exterior paint.

Beautiful!

Perfect, sitting up there to enjoy when passing by.
