Nice quilt and quilting.

Oh my gosh, that quilting is to die for!
|
Beautiful use of scraps!!

Your quilt is absolutely stunning. Didn't you know that quilt fabric is a relative of rabbits and thus multiplies in your closet? My stash seems to constantly have babies 😆

Beautiful quilt. It is my opinion one will never use up all the scraps. I just seem to have more than when I started.

This is a 62" x 93" scrappy arranged in the barnraising pattern. I constructed the blocks like log cabins. The flower-outline quilting was traced using a lightbox with a blue washout marker. The rest of the quilting is free form on a HQ16. This is the first time I have tried machine stitching a faux-piped binding. I was surprised at how square the corners turned out. Here is the YouTube video I used: http://thequiltshow.com/daily-blog/1...5bfc3a371c1723 |
I love this quilt! You did a beautiful job! I agree with Ger B. Could do a quick tut on how you made the logs? I can't see the log pattern. I'm up to 4 velvetta boxes of 2.5 scraps and have already made the ''Film at Five" using scraps! This would be good challenge for me.
