I truly hope you are entering this one in a quilt show -- its one of the top 5 that I've ever seen! The piecing is absolutely fantastic, but the quilting just takes it into the stratosphere! WOW!

what is the best size for a full size quilt for a gift? I know mattresses are all different so what is your best guess?

Mom-6, So glad you posted! I had long since lost the names of all the people who I got blocks from and was so hoping someone who participated in this swap would see the finished quilt and recognize one of their blocks. I believe the D9P in the greens that I quilted dragonflies on was also one of yours. I had so much fun with this quilt right from the beginning when making my blocks to swap, getting blocks back, adding a bunch of blocks to make at least a sofa size quilt, (note to self, when playing with block swappers, always get TWO sets. LOL) laying them out in a not so traditional setting then going crazy with the quilting.
