Batik Bowties

I was saving this one to custom quilt, then I stumbled on this allover design when I was helping a customer pick a panto. It was perfect! Same design that was in the border. (I've been making a real effort to knock these UFOs out this month.)

Very dramatic quilt, well done! Isn’t it wonderful to get UFOs out of the way.
|
Lovely quilt!

Now that's a different take on bow ties....and I like it!

Pretty quilt. I love the bow tie pattern. Like I said before-you have really been busy finishing UFO's
|
Like you wouldn't believe! I want to knock a bunch out so I don't feel guilty for starting new ones! LOL
|
I really like the sashing you put between the bow tie blocks. It really breaks up the design so you can focus on the pattern.
Love it. |
Love the blue border fabric...yes getting the UFO's out of the way inspires new starts!

I am a big fan of the bow tie blocks. You did a beautiful job with this one. It radiates warmth and catches the eye in every direction. Thanks for sharing.

Wow, could you please send me some of your ambition? https://cdn.quiltingboard.com/images...es/biggrin.png
It's a beautiful rendition of a lovely pattern. |
That’s a beauty! Way to finish a UFO!
|
my colors! You have been a really busy person!

Very pretty quilt.

A bow tie was on my list for my son for years but now he would not like it except for the fact that his mom made it. He wants something more like an art quilt which is out of my skill set. He got a flying geese quilt a couple of years ago and that will have to do. 200 + geese in gradient rainbow colors just about did me in.https://cdn.quiltingboard.com/images/smilies/boy.gif Love your bow tie and perhaps, I will make on just for the fun of it sometime in my quilting future.
|
You sure have been busy! Nice colours on your bow ties!
