I just got this back from the Maggie, a member of CAMEO Guild who does professional quilting. The quilting is done all free-hand. This is the second Dresden Plate that I have done. I think this is one of my favorite patterns.

I still need to do the binding, put on a hanging sleeve, and make a label. Although, I do need to name the quilt. Any suggestions for the name?

Gorgeous! I remember seeing the plates as you were working on them. Love the partical plates in the border. Great job!

Joyce, this is the second Dresden plate that I have done. The first one was with a tan background and I quilted it myself. I posted that one about a year and half ago.

I would like to take this time, and my 1000 post, to thank everyone for their kind words and suggestions for a name for the quilt. I think I'm going to name it it "Spinning In The Wind" or "Dancing In The Wind.". Once the quilt is finished I'm going to submit an entry for Paducah, Columbus, and Grand Rapids quilt show for next year. Although, I'm not sure if time will allow for the three shows. Wish me luck. As for my brother allow me to borrow the quilt, well, I have to give it to home first.

Again, thank you for all the kind words.

Absolutely beautiful. The colors are wonderful and the machine quilting is spectacular!
