I've got almost 9" of harp space on this one. Most domestic machines are closer to 7" so, but he newer Janomes designed for quilters have whopping 11".

I'm planning on posting a thread on the quilting process I used on the pink and black quilt in a few days when I've got time to get the pics uploaded.
