Batik quilt-Newbie
Hi all;
I am new to quilting and to your forum and I am really enjoying it and learning a lot. My MIL introduced me to it and gave me a lot of advices as I am pretty much clueless.. This is my last quilt done for my Mom. Pieced by hand and hand quilted, approx 70*70. I was worried about the colors but I think that they turned up fine. I think that the orange really brought them back together. Details are no so pretty when you look closer. :o Hope that you will enjoy it too. I saw a similar pattern with earth tone batik colors which was so pretty that I had to try to copy.. Very happy to be meet you all and now back looking at pictures of your wonderful quilts!!! |
