I just finished this quilt last month. Definately not soothing colors LOL I got the FQ's for my birthday from DD and had to use them up. Still have a big bag of them.

How bright and cheerful! I love the colors.

i have a friend who did a very similar pattern, if not the same, in african colors - used african pattern to quilt it too - very nice!!

Excellent!!! The pattern and colors are wonderful! I love working with batiks. I'm doing my first all-batik sampler quilt in earth tones, and by the time I completed five blocks, I decided that the next quilt will definitely be the beautiful bright colors.
