Beautiful Birds Panel is done!
 

I'm cross-posting this from another thread. Just finished this wall quilt which I had bought as a kit at the Sewing Expo this year.

I would have preferred to use a darker blue in the windows (instead of the blue and green being so close in value), but it still looks pretty great! I'm also really happy with my stippling on this project, although I am not a stippling expert and find it very challenging. The borders are just straight-line quilted.

I used the same panel and did attic windows too. We made 4 quilts and love how they all came out

I really like your bird wall hanging. I love all things 'bird'. I like the light colored border because it allows the colorful birds to stand out. The birds are the focal point and that is beautiful.

Pollytink, I think the pattern I was using called for cutting the birds into rectangles of 5.5 x 6.25", if I remember correctly. It was around that, anyhow. :)

sept97, I love how dark your "shelves" are.... that looks a lot more dimensional than my version. But hey, live and learn! This was my first attempt at attic window blocks. :)
