I just put the last stitch in the border on this top. It's for my 3 1/2 year old, Becca. She LOVES rabbits, I think due to the fact that her lovey is a pink rabbit. She calls it "bun-bun" and every rabbit is a "bun-bun". This quilt will hopefully be a surprise for her. She hasn't caught me working on it yet and hopefully I can get it quilted without her knowledge. Unfortunately my LQS is closed until the 15th so I can't get any batting until then. Don't ask me why, but I always end up finished with a top and have no batting. :roll:

Oh I love the bunnies on it!! My nephew had a bun-bun when he was a babe. Now he is a junior in high school and I believe it is still in his closet somewhere!

What a wonderfully sweet quilt. Soft. I think you wind up with no batting because you are like me - I never know exactly how big a quilt will be until it's completely complete. It's not until then that I know the size batting I need.
