been busy this weekend
 

I machine quilted (LA) both of these this weekend. The black "Cheap sunglasses" is for a friend's quilt shop sample. Little hard to see in the picture but the larger black blocks have a sun face on them.[ATTACH=CONFIG]587065[/ATTACH] then today I quilted up this jelly roll quilt for a friend. She had heard that a local dementia care center, who used a jelly roll quilt to cover the bodies of deceased being removed from the care center, had accidently had the quilt leave and not get it back. She felt so bad, especially since the lady that made the original has passed and her husband is at the care center now and is upset that the quilt is gone. So she asked several of us for bright strips of fabric and I volunteered to quilt it. [ATTACH=CONFIG]587066[/ATTACH] now for some work on my own quilts!
