This is the latest one. Finished today. I love these colors. My laptop and Ipod are bright apple green, and I even have sewing shears with aqua and apple green handles.

Thanks, everyone! I especially appreciate the comments about the stitching, since I feel like I take the easy way out. So many examples of intricate quilting on this site... and then there's me and my DMC floss.

Anyway, I love making these Project Linus quilts. This is my 10th one since last fall.

Do you order the quilt kits from the website, or do you just buy your own supplies? One of my friends got a kit last year, and the pieces were cut kind of wonky. I think it was a Downy website kit, although it might have been from a local chapter or something. I just know she had quite a hair-tearing time of it, trying to fix the cuts. She ended up adding fabric to it.

wow I love bright colors, you are to be comended for what you are doing, it just makes me proud to be a wanta be quilter. :D with all the donated quilts for such good causes. Thank you for sharing your beautiful work. God bless. Penny

I wish I had the nerve to try hand quilting. Your work is evey nice. Try free hand quilting on the machine sometime you'll love it. Lots of fun.

These are beautiful. I work with Project Linus also. I make receiving blankets with flannel and my serger. I also do machine embroidery and do lots of things to be sold to raise money for fabric. I make burp cloths, tea towels, coasters etc. This is a great project and wonderful people are working together to help others.
