I saw a picture of a scrappy batik Courthouse Steps and fell in love with it.
This is my drawing. I'm thinking that this may be my next project. |
It will be a beauty. Be sure to show us. BrendaK

Nice pattern and I like your fabrics...they are the "real" ones, right?
Please do share once you have it together. |
Love it! Isn’t it fun to play with EQ. It’s helped me a great deal with design and color choices.
|
looks like a winner to me.

Court House Steps was the first quilt I made for my middle son over 20 years ago. Been thinking about doing another one lately. Yours will be beautiful.
|
Yes playing in EQ is addicting and helps one get the look we want! How big did you make your finished pieces? And share when you are done!
|
That looks great! I'm thinking EQ might be in my future. My husband is always asking what I'd like for my birthday. Maybe that will be next year's project.
|
That will be gorgeous. I say go for it & show us when you are finished with it.
|

What is the file requirement (format (BMP), size limitations (50kb or less??), what folder to save them to???
|
Wow-that would be a beautiful quilt. Anxious to see it when you start.

Great layout. That had to take you a long time to put each fabric where you wanted it. I started out using EQ5, kept upgrading when it came out but really never knew how to use it efficiently. Finally when I upgraded to EQ8 I decided I'd take lessons to make the most of the program. I'm still taking lessons from Kari and have learned a ton of stuff I never knew you could do including adding fabric collections from the various fabric makers, adding a photo of a fabric I want to use in the project, etc. Still learning but its been fun. Again, good work on this layout. I've always loved logcabins and courthouse step patterns.

Can’t wait to see it!
