Hoping the rest of the blocks come out nice like this one, only see a couple of boo boo's...but I was afraid if I took the seem out one more time the middle square would tear...it was getting weak...LOL

Okay, I always want to know what people are learning as they're doing their quilts/blocks. What was it that required you to tear out the middle block?
Are you paper piecing at all here? BTW, I think it is VERY striking. -- Jillaine |

That's a nice block and the colours will make a really nice quilt. One suggestion..... check your 1/4 inch seam allowance to make sure it's accurate and your corners might come out better.
