My mom will be turning 70 this year and I wanted to make her a beautiful quilt. This is what I came up with. It is paper pieced (my favorite). I keep looking at it thinking how nice it would look on my table the way it is. :roll:

Oh, that is beautiful. Those are great colors, the yellow/golden color makes the darker colors stand out.

Thank you everyone. This is one of Carol Doaks patterns. I am changing it a bit to make it larger. I picked the main color and my DH picked the rest. I stink at matching colors.
