You might want to check out this book promotion for Terrie Linn Kagyar - shows you how to color
with crayola crayons onto your applique pieces - I tried it this morning and it works wonderfully well. Then I washed those pieces and the color remained the same. Of you may want to purchase her book http://www.martingal-pub.com or watch on U-Tube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VJN41...ayer_embedded#! |

I love what you are doing with them! The stitching really makes them stand out.
I started a crayola block last year & of course it is waiting for me to complete it! I'll have to get it done this year maybe! |
Can't wait to see more... these are lovely!!!!

Great pictures, they will definately add beauty to a quilt!

wow nice work

So beautiful! I've never heard of or seen that technique before, so thank you for posting.

You done a wonderful job. Will you be making into a quilt or wall hanging or what?
|
All I can say is WOW!! Your birds are breathtaking. I will also be waiting anxiously to see more blocks and the finished quilt.
I had forgotten about using crayons but I think I will now change my border idea. I just finished a top and wanted to applique fall leaves on the outer border but I think coloring them would be so much prettier. Thank you for showing how colorful they turn out. |
