I'm starting to get furniture for my future quilting studio (soon now, soon...) and the first thing I've purchased was the chair. It sits in the corner of the family room for now, and 2 of the cats fight over it every minute of every day. But THANKS A LOT!! Now I want it RED!! I guess by the time the cats finish with it, it'll need reupholstering anyway... {sigh}

He's doing a super job of creating a work space for you....can't wait to see it finished :thumbup: :thumbup:

We are in the process of doing the same thing. My dh is building the tables and shelves. What are you using for the counter tops? I've decided on white formica. I had paint on the last one and wasn't pleased with that. We thought about trying to shellac it but I think we will go with the formica.

Its going to be wonderful. It is always special to have your very own room. I love mine. Shelves from floor to ceiling and all kind of storage. But it is a mess right now.

I was so glad to have my own sewing space. Now one of my daugthers may be moving back in with her two children and I may loose some of that space. It is so nice to have your own sewing room where you can just close the door and dream and create. Unfortunately all my dream are on paper and not on fabric. Yes, someday. You will get your own space someday and I know you will cherish it with all your heart.
