Yes, our dear sweet Swiss Granny_59 did it again :) ... another Canadian win at one of our Spring Fairs, last month.
Another Red Ribbon for "Ayubovan" .... in the hand quilted applique class. This is the ever-popular mighty mini Dresden and Vines of the QB! (each of the Dresden blades is only 3/4" long!) (Reminder, that Red = First, in Canada!:)) And it gets better .... the Deluxe Purple Ribbon for Judge's Choice!! ... chosen by the Judge as favourite over all entries in all of the quilting classes. That's a prize of prizes to be won!!!! Plus a yellow ribbon ... for a specially sponsored class. I'm SO proud of Swiss Granny_59!! :thumbup: .... and I am ever-the-more honoured that she entrusted this beauty to me. My apologies for being so late in sharing this exciting news!! The full plate is only 3-1/2". Whole quilt is all of 17-3/4"x22-1/2"!!! And it gets better ... she has done one that's even smaller ... I call this one a Micro-Mini!!! :) http://www.quiltingboard.com/picture...d-t221187.html |
