That is so cool. Did you use a jelly roll? I am doing one too using a jelly roll--it goes with me to sew groups and gets worked on when no other priorities are present or I just need something mindless. I love how this quilt looks in so many dif. colors.

Franie, I did not use the Jelly Roll. I ordered some of the fabrics from the internet and went to several local quilt shops for fabric. I paper pieced this quilt and I am making another one for an Oriental lady.

Paperpieced? You have to be kidding? The jelly rolls are perfect and use almost of the width of the strip. The things I learn--that is so why I love this place--so many things happening!

Fran --I used all Oriental Fabrics. My grandson is half Vietnamese and he requested that I make him an Oriental quilt. I never did see any jelly roll fabrics with the Oriental designs.
