Bernina rulers

I used my new Bernina #72 ruler foot and the Bernina Squiggel ruler for my border and the 3 in one ruler to do the arcs on the Spiderweb pattern. I don't know if you can see the quilting in this close up but they worked really well.

Good work.

I am glad you posted this. I have some questions about them. I hope some others comment about them. They are expensive but would be worth the investment if they are fairly easy to manage.

Looks good, Tartan! Don't you love working with rulers? They open up so many design possibilities and you can do some neat things combining them with non-ruler work Fmq.

So do you just mark the fabric using the rulers, then sew?

The only part I marked were the peaks and valleys on the Squiggle ruler so I could keep the pattern correct as I moved the ruler. The nice thing about the Bernina #72 is that it is stationary so keeping the ruler against it is easy.

Just how do you use the rulers? I can't figure it out. Seems like the rulers would slide all over the place. I've seen them at the store and wondered about them. Glad to hear you like them.
