My quilt won Best of Show in the Santa Barbara County Fair! It is William Morris "Friends". It was a block of the month several years ago from Stichin' Heaven. It did rest in the drawer for a time before I started it. Hand appliqued, machine pieced and machine quilted by me on my Viking Mega Quilter. It was my first attempt at echo quilting so I drew out all the quilting, that is ALOT of quilting!! The center motif is stippled and the black inner border is cross hatched. It took me over 3 years to complete mainly because there is always a baby or graduation quilt that comes up. I love doing my own quilting, I am proud of my projects when I can do them from start to finish.
