When my DGD found out this quilt was for her she helped(?) me all the way though. This morning when I had it layed out to pin, she came downstairs and promptly layed in the middle of it declaring she was tired and needed a nap. Then when I was tying it, she stripped her jammys and diaper off and wrapped up in the middle of it to help me more. When it really was finished she layed down and was asleep in five minutes.

Awwwwww that's what it is all about!! Adorable quilt and DGD. I made a quilt for my son and daughter in law and found her curled up under it sound asleep on the sofa.....made my heart sing.

There's one quilt that will be loved to death!

I believe the greatest joy for a quilter, is to see some one curled up fast asleep under a quilt made by her hands.
It made my heart sing to hear my four year old DGD, tell her 15 year old sister how much time and effort and LOVE, Grama put into the quilt that I made her!! From the mouth of babes. . . .

What is it with baby grandaughters and quilts we make...mine does exactly the same thing...she has to sleep on every one I make, and is so happy when she knows they are for her. Sweet pics! And you're a great grandma!
