Well La la Lori has decided to make a few of these Texas quilts to sell to her family and friends...because the first one apparantly went over really well...YAY!
I love this quilt because of all it represents in my journey as a quilter. I was afraid of my own ideas until Lori freed me the first time around and the end result helped both of us what a true blessing! Our ideas can never be to big right? I quilted this freehand on my INNOVA. I used Hobbs polydown batting. Thanks for looking! |
Ohhhhh that is so pretty. Love it, of course would be a little biased, I'm in Texas.

I really like how you paint pictures with your quilting!

Your quilt is really outstanding and you had a good time. It shows in your work. The figures were so clear. WOW.
|
Awesome. You did a great job putting Texas into that quilt.
|
Superb job as usual!! Your quilting is fantastic...when I grow up I want to be a long arm quilter like you Chrismah *L* I am old enough to be your Momma now..My motto is ..I may get older but I refuse to grow up ;-)

Love the way you quilted the "Texas" aspect in your quilts. And I am a little biased, too, as I was reared in Texas.
|
Awesome.
|
Your machine quilting is amazing...such wonderful work!!! Guess Texas is a favorite for me as well since I lived there for 20 years!! Love it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is stunning! Love the quilt and the quilting! What's left to say?
|
Just beautiful and I'm not being biased! Your quilting is wonderful as always.
|
Love it.

I remember your first one with the longhorn ("its a Texas thing" )
I have to say Charismah your quilted pictures are AMAZING! Especially that bull rider. Did you stitch that through golden threads paper or a similar product or mark the quilt? I can see it is way too detailed to have followed a design with a laser light. Lots of starts and stops in that cowboy! |

I love all the motifs among the quilting. They were fun to see. It looks great and I am not and never have been in Texas. So I am not prejudice.

Charisma,
Thank you so much. You are infinately amazing. Though this is not the first quilt you've done for me, it is always so exciting to see your work make my quilt come to life. You are the best!           La La Lori |
great job
love it     |
Another beauty...
|
What fabulous, artistic quality. not to mention all the love and time involved in it. I also grew up in Texas in the Clear Lake area near Houston. Lived there til my mid-30's and still think of it as home. You can take the girl out of Texas, but you can't take Texas out of the girl.
|
Very nice and great ideas in the quilting!
|
Well done, it is really pretty.
|
I might be a bit prejudiced, too, but I LOVE IT, I LOVE IT, I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
