Lovely quilt - I really like the colors. In the picture it has a stained glass quality. The flannel back will be an extra treat for him.

This is one teriffic quilt. Love the design.

Take another look at your picture. You have a great optical illusion going on in it and I wanted to mention it.

Look at the tree at the top of the picture and then down at the quilt. There are a few patches that are very similar in color and texture to the tree and makes it look as though there are open blocks in the quilt. Just a cool observation.

Thank you all! The design is from McCall's Quick & Easy Quilts. It was in an e-book. Unfortunately, when I tried to put it away I lost the e-book, but I had thankfully copied the one pattern..."Birds of a Feather".
