Great quilt! Wish I could turn out something that quickly! You did a great job and I'm sure your friend will be thrilled and awed.

I started with couple of mug rugs then thought about this wonky pattern and I found out I have the magazine with the pattern (score). 24 hours later I have this ready, quilted with stipples on my long arm and packaged to be mailed out tomorrow morning. Btw her birthday is on the 9th and probably the package will get there same day....how cool is that???

Trust me you can. It is simply done by cutting the center square then sewing 3" strips around cut it wonky then another 3" strips all around and cut wonky again viola you are done ;-)

Your friend should love this quilt. If not, Maxine is my main favorite! I have Maxine stories to tell someday!
