Birthday present for niece

2 Attachment(s)
My niece decorates her home ... inside and out ... for each holiday and all special occasions. She and her family live in a beautiful log cabin home in upstate New York. Her birthday is in October & this year I made a Halloween table runner as her gift. I hope she likes it!

She will love it! Well done. Was this a kit or did you choose the fabrics and the placement? What is the name of the pattern?

This is a really pretty table runner-very festive. It is nice of you to help her decorate for the season. I admire people who do that.

This was a kit put together last year by our local quilt shop. The kit included the pattern, Two by Four's from Pieced Tree Patterns; 1 charm pack; 3/8 yard of coordinating fabric; & an 18" x 50" piece for the backing. I only had to supply the batting. I've had the kit for a year. About time I made it!!!

The strips were made from a charm pack ... pieces cut in half.

What a nice gift for your niece. I like the bright colors you chose. The cheerful dot fabric on the back side can be used anytime of year. I can picture cupcakes or a birthday cake on top of the dot side. (with icing to match!:)

Karamarie 10-12-2015 04:09 AM

She should definitely like it - love your choice of fabrics.
