do y'all think a darker green will make a good border?? 3 or 4 inch border. Blocks are 13.5 finished size. I had over 300 4 inch squares so used them to border embroideried panels.

McKenna will be 10. Her room is orchids and pinks..

Yes, that will be beautiful to finish it off. This is a lovely quilt. Good work.

Nice job of incorporating the embroidery designs in the quilt. I am sure she loves it!

I'd go with something soft like the lilac. Dark green seems like it might be too harsh.

I agree, the pinks and lavenders would be nice. Those are the colors in her room right?

Beautiful quilt!!!!

Are you going to use the 'lighter' dark green from the card trick? I think that would set if off nicely. What color would coordinate best with the room?

After looking at your top again, the green would be too harsh. Do you have pink and lavender squares you could use on the border?

I love the quilt . I would go with a lighter color for the border.

I would use the lavender in the card trick block. The quilt is beautiful.
