She's my boss and MOM stands for "my other mother" which is exactly what she is, she's seen me through 2 kids and 3 husbands and a LOT of bumps. When I gave it to her this morning she wouldn't let me take her picture cause she was crying too much!

Kathy that is beautiful. How do you find the time to make so many quilts. I love the bright cheerful colors, you are lucky to work for what sounds like a great lady....you are both lucky. :D

You've outdone yourself again. Beautiful and so special for your MOM. I love the definition "My Other Mother". She must be a very special lady!

what a lovely quilt. thanks for letting us see it. i love the fussy cut roses. such a special friendship you must have with your MOM. you are lucky to have each other

Hmmm,

I would be crying too... but no, no no... you didn't make it for m...

oh wait, that's bad form. I'll start over...

Very very nice. The reason I started quilting was because no one would make me a quilt. Now your MOM doesn't need to learn.

Great job...

I absolutely, absolutely love it... what is the name of the pattern please? you know, I don't think it would cost too much to post it to New Zealand.. .. I will expect it before Xmas..... !!!

Well done..... she must be very special to you.....

That really is beautiful, Kathy. The cobalt blue really sets it off.
