I posted my trial of Jacobs ladder retro a few days ago and someone suggested reversing colours. When I tried I much preferred it with black as main focus. This is what it looks like. Now to border and quilt it. Quilt smaller than I would normally do but will give to friend who sends lots of stuff to Africa and other countries.someone will enjoy it.

I like the switch as well.

I love your lay out but before you start sewing the rows I think one of the 4 patches in the center is turned wrong.

WOW ! I remember your previous post and it is amazing how different this quilt looks.

I don't want to alarm you but is there something going on in the center of the quilt, a backwards block, maybe, or is it my eyes!

EDIT: I see two spots that the four patch needs a quarter turn to make the colors line up properly.

EDIT: What I originally wanted to say is that I really like the top this way. Very sharp, nice conrtast in the two color combo and very modern.:D

Yes, a patch needs to be turned a quarter turn, I think. Looks good though.
