Black binding instead of red...
 

I had planned on a red binding on this Bargello, but at the last minute I went for black. It is a bit hard to see, but I think it really made the quilt turn out looking good.

This is an original design that I worked very hard on. After I finished, I realized I could have had almost the same result by making a Trip around the World and just putting the four quarters together in an X shape instead of a diamond shape.

Oh well. It was still fun. :)

I love the quilt. and the black binding is perfect. I have always preferred a very thin binding as to not take away from the quilt.

Perfect Choice -- it looks great. That must have taken a LOT of time to figure out??? I don't think I could do that.

It looks gorgeous! I think the black binding adds just the right zing.
