I think it would look great on a bed and look at all the color options you would have for pillows!

I think the quilt would look fabulous on your bed but if you stopped now and made it a lap quilt more people would probably see and enjoy it somewhere else in your house.

maybe make the fan portion large enough to fit the top of a bed and add plain or simple pieced borders to bring it to the size your wish it to be.
