It is just a dp9 block with sashing. I first saw a quilt on this board but it wsn't in black and white.

I would just put binding on ...it sure doesnt need anything else...it's beautiful. great job.

Beautiful quilt, I would skip the border and put the black binding on. The black, white and red quilt I made was sent off to the quilter and she used red thread for the quilting-it was the WOW factor.

Very nice. If it's the right size I'd say you're done if you need more length and width go with a border. It's very stunning as it is.

Mary, the quilt is stunning! I would just do a binding in black, otherwise a more complex border would detract from the quilt.

I think it's fabulous! No border is needed but have you considered maybe doing the binding in red to keep the pop going?

Is this Disappearing 9 patch? I'm agreeing that just a binding would be beautiful! I'm becoming less enchanted with borders and finding I like just a binding a lot of the time. I think a border detracts from the quilt design sometimes. Just me. And just for now probably.
